La Mission的聲譽，向來不在Haut-Brion之下，尚未併購以前，一直是為競爭對手,直到1983年Dillon 家族同時收購Ch. La Mission Haut-Brion、Ch. La Tour Haut-Brion、Ch. Les Carmes Haut-Brion。
Robert Parker曾經給予La Mission Haut-Brion 6個完美100分的年份,而2009年正是那La Chapelle de La Mission Haut Brion與La Mission Haut Brion使用相同的發酵方式,細心呵護使得正牌與二軍酒體均衡,香醇四溢也傳承了奧比昂堡經典傳統…. La Mission Haut-Brion中的mission 在法语裡是“傳道”的意思，後来衍生出“使命”這個词義，而其在拉丁语中的原意是“派遣，傳遞”，意味着傳道的神職人员是由上帝派遣的，而La Mission Haut-Brion葡萄酒“傳遞”正是来自上帝的最美好讯息
The second wine, the 2009 La Chapelle de la Mission, is essentially an equal part blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon with slightly more Cabernet Franc that came in at 14.2% natural alcohol. It reveals an extraordinary meaty nose displaying hints of volcanic soils, burning embers, sweet black currants, blueberries, plums, tobacco leaf and wet stones. This tasty, full-bodied, supple-textured beauty should drink well for 15-20 years.
