頂級夏多內 – 夢幻酒莊

許多葡萄酒同好認為，Jean-Francois Coche是布根地最佳的白酒釀造者。

第三代莊主Jean-Francois從14開始就協助父親一起在葡萄園內工作，多年來謹守釀酒傳統，細心呵護老藤，並且控制低產量。該酒莊採用cordon de royat的種植方式，使葡萄生產量降低，但卻能大幅提高葡萄的豐富及多層次的口感。嚴謹的態度和精神，造就出不凡的頂級佳釀。1975年Jean-Francois於和Odile Dury結婚後，酒莊名正式改為Coche-Dury 。1999年當時已完成學習葡萄栽培及釀酒的兒子Raphael Coche加入,於2010正式接掌經營酒莊。

Coche-Dury酒莊所擁有的九公頃葡萄園分佈於Meursault和Côte de Beaune，包括Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, , Volnay,Auxey-Duresses, Monthelie and Pommard。他最厲害的兩種白酒佳釀為Corton-Charlemagne和Meursault-Perrieres。而Coche也製作出極佳的meursault les rougeots , meursault les narvaux和其他村莊的meursaults，他也釀造出極少量的頂級puligny-montrachet enseigneres，年產量4萬瓶。

Tasting note:

(with thanks to Bruce Khouri; also opened from personal storage). Relatively deep golden. A pretty and fully mature nose of really lovely complexity, especially for a villages level wine, dissolves into intense, round and utterly delicious medium-bodied flavors that offer exceptionally good Meursault character and an abundance of minerality on the long finish. This still vibrant effort continues to pack plenty of flavor authority and one that has arrived at its peak of maturity. I would suggest drinking this up over the next 5 to 7 years or so as there is no appreciable upside development potential remaining. In sum, this is a simply terrific wine for its level. Tasted thrice with consistent notes.

In the bouquet hay, pear, melon with beautiful citrus infused minerality and a suitable impression of oak – classic Coche!. On the palate fine and harmonious fruit with a vibrant minerality for this level and a crisp acidity. Very good length and focus for a village. A gorgeous wine from the king of Meursault – impressive.
