Ch. Lafon Rochet

Château Lafon-Rochet起源於十六世紀。1650年， LafonÉtienne Lafon 繼承了這片叫做「RochetRochette」的土地。就這樣，Lafon和Rochet這兩個名字合在了一起。此後酒莊便開始了長達兩個世紀的釀酒史。

十八世紀初期被稱為「葡萄種植的狂熱期」， LafonÉtienne Lafon 通過不斷地購買土地增加了Château Lafon-Rochet葡萄園的面積。Lafon家族經過一個世紀的努力，酒莊於1855年被評為四級莊。19世紀末的根瘤蚜蟲病害令莊園受到毀滅性的打擊，所有的葡萄植株都不同程度的受到疾病的侵襲，幾乎無法生長出符合釀造標準的葡萄，所以在1895年，酒莊被迫易主。至此，結束了Lafon家族對酒莊的統治。

之後數度易主，直到1959年，酒莊被Tesseron家族買下，至此酒莊在緩慢中恢復過來，面積從15公頃擴展到41公頃，葡萄種植品種由之前的兩種增加到目前的四種。現在由下一代Michel Tesseron所繼承。

Ch. Lafon Rochet 2006 375ml

A bit lean, but some clean berry and currant character. Medium body. Delicate finish. Score range: 85-88 –JS

Ch. Lafon Rochet 2008 375ml

A direct red, with a firm edge to the beam of black cherry and black currant fruit. The light chalkiness edge lingers on the tobacco-tinged finish, though the plum fruit fleshes out enough for balance. Drink now through 2014. –JM

Ch. Lafon Rochet 2009 375ml

Juicy and very lively, with lots of briar, currant, cherry, toasty spice and anise notes all framed by bright floral and iron hints. The long finish has excellent cut and drive. Best from 2013 through 2021. 11,250 cases made. –JM
