風土之外Jacquesson與法國皇室御用香檳Lanson

創建於1798年Jacquesson曾飛黃騰達、不可一世但確又幾經波折、家道中落；直到1974年Chiquet家族收購並搬遷至Dizy迪斯鎮(艾佩內Epernay之北)，在現任莊主Jean-Herve與Laurent兩兄弟攜手同心養地、整地、重建 ，並對每個區域的葡萄園微氣候加以了解以調配釀製出最出色的無年份香檳。其酒款只採用特級和一級園來釀製美酒、質地複雜且醇厚。酒莊的特級園在Ay、Aviza和Oiry地區，一級園在Hautvillers、Dizy和Mareuil-Sur-Ay。主要的釀酒葡萄都來自這些產區，只有約15%的葡萄來自Choilly的特級園和Cumieres的一級園。 無年份香檳是由同年份但不同區塊的葡萄混釀並特別保留的早些年份培養的基酒所調配而成。而Jacquesson Cuvee 738是以2010年所收成的葡萄為主，並加入33%的陳年基酒（Vin de Reserve）。

In many ways, the 738 sets the tone for the night, as it is so full of life. This is a great showing from a Champagne that consistently overdelivers relative to its peers.

The latest in the Chiques family's very successful initiative of numbered NV cuvées, this is based on 2010 with one-third reserve wine in the blend. The nose has plenty of bright chardonnay fruits, lime and lemon, green melon notes and a little spicy edge, plus plenty of stony, chalky notes too. The palate's nicely paced, delivering the same swathe of citrus on arrival, building to more savory, nutty characters as it goes. Lemon and lime sherbet flavors; acidity is crunchy and energetic. Drink now or over the next five years, longer if you like more of the toasty stuff.

Cru葡萄來進行調和酒體，並堅持不經乳酸發酵(Malolactic fermentation) ，保留香檳原始清新

及芳香的高品質，充分表達出細緻和優雅的特色。一種高貴質地的口感，細膩的泡沫、白色水果，蜜餞柑橘和蜂蜜味道混合著這個特殊年份的新鮮度特徵，平衡了複雜又優雅和充滿活力的的酒體，香氣與口味和諧交融。       

對香檳產區來說2008年的春夏陰涼乾燥，但並沒有延遲開花季，果實熟成速度緩慢，賦予一個完美成熟穠纖罕見的平衡，幸運的是九月收穫前夕天氣突然好轉並持續了一個月之久，金秋時節天空晴朗，日照充足、夜間涼爽 ，是自2002年以來絕佳的年份。Krug酒窖總管Eric Lebel表示2008年的好是無庸置疑，甚至可以挑戰2002媲美1996，而大多數的香檳廠都將2008先予以窖藏而率先發表2009，如Pierre Péters、Louis Roederer Cristal。

It’s thanks to wines like this, that the 2008 vintage has attracted such attention. True to the traditional Lanson style, developed over 250 years, Champagne Lanson Gold Label 2008 is light, elegant and vibrant, but also long, persistent and full. The blend is 53% Pinot Noir and 47% Chardonnay all of which is sourced from Grand Cru vineyards. Crystallised white fruit, honey and nougat lead on the nose and palate, with brioche and cream to the fore on the finish. Pinpoint balance and extremely more-ish.

This is a very elegant, pure and refined classic with a lovely mineral expression; it has refreshing lemon flavors in the very good finish. This is made in a lean and complex style. Excellent, although it needs a few years of ageing. Disgorged in July 2015.
