Domaine Jamet

Jean-Paul Jamet 和 Jean Luc Jamet 自1991年兩兄弟從父親手上接下Domaine Jamet, 管理全部的Cote Rotie釀酒事業,直至目前經營的非常出色.位於Cote Blonde and Cote Brune 25處不同的葡萄園,全數加起來共有8公頃,現今已能夠在Cote Rotie 擁有兩種不同路線的酒.一種是混合的standard cuvee,來自不同處的葡萄.另一種是年份單一葡萄園. 來自Cote Brune 5公頃的單一葡萄園的葡萄.品種皆為Syrah,兩種路線將視年份好壞比例分配產量.

2013年Jamet家族宣布改變酒莊未來的方向。Jamet家人說，讓Jean-Luc建立屬於自己的酒莊，並選用來自家族Lancement的葡萄.讓倆兄弟使用自己的方式在Cote
Rotie走出自己的風格。

Jamet Cote Rotie is aged in 20% new oak. The remaining wine is aged in oak barrels ranging from 3 to 10 years of age for close to 22 months. Cote Brune is aged in 35% new oak barrels for 22 months.

This has a good juicy feel for the vintage, with pepper, plum, blackberry and black cherry fruit laced with tobacco leaf and green olive notes. A kirsch edge hangs on the finish. Shows better flesh and persistence than most 2008s. Drink now through 2020. 100 cases imported. –JM
