One can read the Veuve Clicquot story by tracking the correspondence exchanged between the Maison and various cities throughout the course of its history and from its very beginning in 1772. The United States received its first ever delivery of Veuve Clicquot in 1782, and from then on thousands of letters crossed the Atlantic in exchange between Reims and New York.
To pay homage to Madame Clicquot's letter writing and her resulting conquest of the USA, Veuve Clicquot has created a fresh, unconventional version of the traditional American mailbox. Painted in our classic Clicquot yellow and proudly carrying the Maison's codes, its lid opens up to reveal a 75cl bottle of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label, while a playful red flag lifts up to confirm its safe arrival. To top it all off, the bottle is accompanied by a little card and envelope for you to add a personalized message.
